Fern R. Beaman, 88, lifelong resident of the Quincy-Lewisville area died Sunday night at Putnam County Hospital, Greencastle, where she had been a patient for about a month. Mrs. Beaman had lived at the Donna Nursing Home in Cloverdale for the past three years. The daughter of Harry and Minnie Dalton McCullough, she was born in Taylor Township, Owen County Jan 31, 192.  On Jan 28, 1911, she married Frank Beaman who preceded her in death Feb 8, 1976. Mrs. Beaman was a member of the Cloverdale Methodist Church. Her survivors include three daughters: Marie Siebenthal, Mooresville; Esther Smith, Austin, Texas and Eva Kennedy, Indianapolis, seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a sister, Grace Kent, Indianapolis. The funeral will be Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. The Rev. Charles Wood will officiate. Burial will take place in Mannan Cemetery. – kbz
